[Albert steadily got better and as things went back to normal, the conversation drifted to the back of Jet's mind. It wasn't until months later when they were preparing for Joe and Francoise's wedding that it even re-occurred to him.

It was silly to even think about it. Yeah, he wouldn't really mind doing that whole official thing with Albert, but the guy'd had a fiancee once, he probably wasn't looking to have another. Besides, what was the point, it was just some dumb ceremony that ended in signing papers saying two people would continue doing what they'd been doing before. No point, right?
Still, the problem with planning for a wedding--and as best man, he definitely had some stuff to keep him busy--was that thoughts related to the damn thing just kept cropping up.]
